About this toolkit

A set of music production calculators for producers, engineers and DJs: tempo-synced delay and reverb times from BPM, note-to-frequency conversion with an adjustable A4 reference, cents and interval maths, bars-to-seconds with sample counts and file sizes, the Camelot wheel for harmonic mixing, and the pitch consequences of changing tempo. Pure maths, all in your browser. (Looking for tools that make sound — metronome, tone generator, BPM tapper? They live in the Audio category.)

Who uses these tools

Frequently asked questions

Are these music calculators accurate?

They use the standard formulas: 60000 ÷ BPM for the beat, equal-temperament frequency = A4 × 2^(semitones ÷ 12), cents = 1200 × log2(ratio), and the standard Camelot wheel mapping. All exact for the maths; rooms, analogue gear and ears add their own colour.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser with no download, sign-up, or data leaving your device.

Which tools are in this category?

BPM to milliseconds, note to frequency, cents and intervals, bars to seconds, the Camelot key wheel and the time-stretch / pitch calculator.
